Caring For Your Quilt

All quilts are machine washable. Use a gentle laundry detergent that does not contain bleach and wash on a cold delicate cycle. If you line dry your quilt hang it with the linning side out to protect from sun exposure.

If washing by hand, squeeze the quilt gently removing the excess water. Then lie it flat sandwiched between two heavy layers to absorb the remaining water.

Alternatively you can vaccum your quilt to remove the excess dust, which will in time dull the colours.

My fabrics are not pre-washed before the quilts are sewn, therefore you can expect a small percentage of shrinkage with the first wash.
